iPad's Popularity Breeds Imitators
They say that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, if that's the case, then Apple must be blushing right now. The iPad has been a giant success for Apple and now competitors have released tablet computers of their own. But are they at the same level and quality of the iPad? Probably not, as seen over the years Apple's products have continued to dominate the market because their gadgets simply work, look good, and meet consumer needs.
When it comes to shinny new gadgets, one company has been king for a decade. First Apple's iPod, iPhone, and now the iPad has persuaded millions to part with there cash. Apple is known for it's innovation which has paved the way for new technology and has helped in the saving of my industries related to it's products. Their market share for personal computers and laptops has also grown significantly over the years.
More than 3 million iPads have been sold since it's spring launch. Competitors such as Samsung and Toshiba have launched their own tablets to compete with the iPad. But the iPad will continue to grow in sales and popularity because it is the first of it's kind and not an imitation. It also has Apple's reputation of simplicity and reliability of just working right out of the box.
